Key Facts about the Vehicle Benefits Group Breakdown Policy with the RAC:
- Payment is required for 12 months at the time of sign-up. We are unable to accept monthly payments.
- Your minimum commitment is 12 months at the upfront rate displayed before payment.
- The agreement will be terminated on the expiry date unless you renew the cover in your user area before this date, or if your cover is set to auto-renew.
- Your vehicle(s) stated within your registration are the only vehicle(s) covered by this service. Therefore, any authorised driver driving the registered vehicle will be covered. The services will not be provided for non-registered vehicles or invalid registrations.
- Vehicle Benefits do not issue a membership number as the breakdown cover is vehicle-based.
- Your RAC Vehicle Benefits Group Breakdown Policy will take effect from your "Policy Start Date" until your "Policy End Date". Please note, depending on when your policy was purchased, your registration may not be recognised by the RAC for up to 2 working days after your policy start date. In the instance of a breakdown, the RAC will always offer assistance or contact Vehicle Benefits for clarification.

In the event of a breakdown, please call RAC on the dedicated phone number in your welcome pack (0330 159 0953), along with your vehicle registration number.
- Cancellation - Please note that there is a 14-day cooling off period from the date your policy was purchased, where you can cancel the policy upon your request entitling you to a refund. Post this cooling-off period no refunds will be accepted. Once your policy is in effect, it cannot be paused.
